Screening conclusion

Public record only

Open focused private diligence.
Payment traction remains unestablished.

Public listings support an available community application and a discoverable operating footprint. They do not establish an operating payment network, retained paying demand or the rights attached to a proposed investment. Clarify those matters before using the commercial story in underwriting.

Project Meridian is an illustrative consumer community platform connecting internationally mobile users with local venues, events and benefits. Its proposed monetization extends into subscriptions, distribution and payments.

What supports another diligence step

  • App-store records identify a consumer product and its developer.
  • The public proposition connects a defined user group with identifiable venue categories.
  • Public pricing creates a testable commercial proposition.

These observations establish a research starting point, not product-market fit.

What prevents stronger reliance

  • Payments are still described as forthcoming on the dedicated product page.
  • Membership and business counts lack aligned definitions and dates.
  • Operating entities, data responsibilities and investment rights require primary records.
Decision boundary. The screen recommends the next diligence action. It does not recommend an investment, assess an entry price or provide clearance of the company or transaction.

Material public findings

Supported within limits

P01   The application has an observable public footprint

Android and iOS store records describe community, events, discovery and benefits. A downloadable listing is observable; its existence does not establish production performance, active users or payment settlement.

Implication: inspect the production product and relevant usage records before relying on feature or engagement claims.

Unresolved

P02   Payment availability needs a dated reconciliation

The dedicated payments page describes the service as forthcoming. Public-facing product copy also refers to in-app payments. Different release stages or stale copy may explain this; the record does not resolve the operating status.

Implication: obtain a feature-by-feature launch record, processor agreements and production transaction evidence.

Unreconciled

P03   Headline audiences are not a reconciled traction measure

At the cutoff, the website claimed at least 12,000 members, 4,382 access requests, 250 businesses, 127 businesses onboarding and 75 community leaders. Dates and definitions were not supplied. These are distinct populations, not a growth series.

Implication: do not convert membership or venue reach into paying users, active merchants or revenue.

Unresolved

P04   The entity chain needs primary documentation

The public footprint refers to a current operating entity and a legacy company name. A secondary company-data source reports a live registered entity. Neither establishes beneficial ownership, asset transfer, IP title or the issuer of an investment instrument.

Implication: request official extracts and map the entity that owns the product, signs customer contracts and receives investor funds.

Requires reconciliation

P05   Data declarations differ across platforms

The iOS listing declares no collected data; the Android listing declares collection of several personal-data categories. Platform versions and definitions may differ. The difference warrants a data-flow and disclosure check, not a presumption of a breach.

Implication: establish controller roles and permissions before underwriting data monetization.

Unverified

P06   Public marketing is not customer corroboration

Partner logos and paid product tiers are visible. No independently confirmed partner activity or customer economics were established in this screen. Testimonial portrait links point to a generic portrait service; their associated customer identities were not authenticated.

Implication: obtain referenceable counterparties and attributable activity. Template imagery alone does not establish that the underlying testimonial is false.

Partially supported

P07   Founder experience is principally self-described

An affiliated venture website identifies a founder and other ventures operated by the same team. This establishes the public representation, not past performance, time commitment or capacity to execute the payment roadmap.

Implication: verify relevant operating experience and the allocation of key people across ventures.

Commercial context

The diligence question is whether local distribution produces repeat, economically valuable usage. A broad feature set is not enough to establish differentiation.

Customer jobObservable alternativeWhat Meridian must demonstrate
Organize recurring communities and eventsLuma documents calendar memberships and member-specific event access. PS08A meaningful improvement in local density, retention or merchant economics.
Discover a business and start a commercial interactionWhatsApp documents business catalogs. PS09Incremental discovery and conversion sufficient to justify another platform or fee.
Pay a local merchantMeridian’s public payments page remains forthcoming. PS02A usable payment experience, contracted processing and settlement responsibilities, and willingness to switch.

The desk has not performed a full market-sizing study or product benchmark. These comparisons establish overlap in customer jobs. They do not establish that competing products have identical capabilities.

Evidence that would strengthen the case

Repeat use across venues, retained paying merchants, demonstrated incremental sales and a reconciled margin after incentives and processing costs.

Evidence that would weaken it

Activity concentrated in promotions, weak repeat usage, nominal partnerships without transactions, or a fee that merchants accept only while subsidized.

Private diligence handoff

Prioritize records that separate a discoverable community product from a repeatable transaction business.

Stop or narrow reliance if: material identities cannot be reconciled, production claims cannot be evidenced, or management cannot distinguish audience size from actual transaction activity. Missing information remains an open question; it is not by itself a finding of misconduct.

Sources and scope

This screen uses public records only. Private pitch materials, forecasts and token-design files do not support its findings. The companion memorandum examines those records separately.

Reviewed scope: the official website and payments/pricing pages, two app stores, a founder-affiliated website, secondary entity information and selected competing-product documentation. Targeted web searches were used as leads. This was not a comprehensive adverse-media, sanctions, litigation, licensing or background investigation. No official paid registry extract, production account, paid database or direct customer confirmation was obtained.

Public records were retrieved on 12 September 2026. Indexed pages may lag live product changes. The desk did not install the app, transact or authenticate underlying identities. Access errors prevented review of certain linked legal pages; their contents are not treated as absent or deficient.

Anonymization. Company, personal and location identifiers are replaced or withheld; audience figures are generalized. Identifying URLs and app IDs are omitted. Source codes refer to privately retained records. This edition therefore demonstrates the delivery format and reasoning, but cannot provide an anonymous reader with direct access to the original company sources.

Finding language: supported within limits means a source supports the narrow observation. Unreconciled means definitions, timing or populations prevent comparison. Unresolved means decisive evidence was not established. None of these labels certifies the subject.
