Mjolnir

For quant teams and trading firms

Make the strategy assessable before seeking capital.

For trading teams seeking capital and allocators defining what they can accept. Mjolnir reviews the strategy, track record, risk, liquidity and deployable capacity before deciding whether a relevant conversation is appropriate.

What we do

We compare the strategy with an allocator’s stated requirements.

A return series alone does not show whether an allocator can use the strategy. The operating structure, risk, liquidity, capacity, venue and reporting arrangements also matter.

A trading team presents the strategy, denomination, track-record period, drawdowns, liquidity, risk controls and capacity it can actually deploy. Mjolnir assesses whether those details are clear enough for a relevant allocator conversation.

An allocator can define the strategy types, evidence, risk limits, liquidity and operating conditions it will accept. Mjolnir uses those criteria before proposing a conversation.

  • Strategy evidence

Strategy, denomination, track-record period, drawdowns, capacity, liquidity, risk and operating structure.

  • Allocator criteria

Acceptable strategy types, evidence, risk limits, liquidity, capacity and operating conditions.

  • Permission to introduce

A conversation only when the strategy appears relevant and both parties authorise contact.

What happens after enquiry

The strategy and allocator criteria are understood before contact.

  1. Make the strategy assessable

Present the evidence, operating structure, risk, liquidity and capacity in a form an allocator can understand.

  2. Compare it with criteria

Determine whether the strategy appears compatible before names or sensitive information are shared.

  3. Introduce with permission

Connect the team and allocator only when both want to explore the opportunity.

Before outreach, Mjolnir agrees who the client is, what may be disclosed, the fee basis and what would trigger any contingent fee. Mjolnir does not guarantee capital, venue terms, performance or an introduction. It does not manage the strategy or act as an exchange, broker, custodian or investment adviser.
